The tip of the probe is blunt and perfect for periodontal probing in cats and dogs. The probe has engraved periodontal markings; 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10 mm, in order to avoid fading ink as a result of autoclaving. The Shepherd hook, at the other end is useful for identifying and exploring supra- and subgingival tooth defects.
Instrument mixed for oral examination. Normal lenght measuring probe for pocket depths and Shepherd hook for defects on the teeth.
