Frontpro tyggetabletter 10-25 kg
Frontpro® chewable tablets for dogs (11 mg, 28 mg, 68 mg, 136 mg)
Contains afoxolaner. For the treatment of flea and tick infestations in dogs.
Contraindications: Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.
Precautions: Parasites must start feeding on the host to be exposed to afoxolaner; the risk of transmission of vector‑borne diseases cannot be excluded. Consider treating other animals in the household to avoid reinfestation. In cases of heavy flea infestation, the environment should be treated with an appropriate product and vacuumed regularly. Avoid unnecessary use of antiparasitic medicines to reduce the development of resistance. Treatment of puppies under 8 weeks of age and/or dogs under 2 kg should be based on the veterinarian’s judgement. Wash hands after use.
Adverse reactions: Very rarely, neurological signs (seizures, ataxia, muscle tremors), pruritus, lethargy, anorexia, vomiting, and diarrhoea may occur. Most adverse reactions are mild and transient.
Dosage: Oral use. 2.7–7 mg/kg body weight once monthly.
