KRUUSE Silk is a natural, braided, and coated suture. With silk being a natural fiber, more tissue reaction can be expected using this type of suture compared to synthetic sutures.
Natural silk contains two glycoproteins: Fibroin and sericin. Sericin can cause an immune response and has therefore been removed from KRUUSE Silk.

Multifilament, braided: For secure knot tying and easy handling
Coated (wax): For easy knot tying and smooth passage through tissue
Non-absorbable: Provides permanent tensile strength

Chemical composition: KRUUSE Silk is composed of 100% fibroin

Colour: Black

Indications
