KRUUSE Sacryl is a synthetic, braided, multifilament, absorbable suture designed for soft-tissue closure in veterinary procedures. It combines excellent handling characteristics with strong knot security and low tissue reaction.
Technical details:
• Material: Polyglactin 910 (90 % glycolide / 10 % L-lactide)
• Coating: Polyglycolide-co-lactide (30/70) with calcium stearate
• Needle: ½ circle round-bodied, tapercut – 36 mm
• Colour: Violet (available undyed on request)
• Absorption: Complete in ≈ 56–70 days via hydrolysis
• Tensile strength retention: ≈ 75 % (14 days), 40 % (21 days), 20 % (28 days)
• Sterilisation: Ethylene oxide (EO)
• Packaging: 18/pk
