KRUUSE Monofast Suture is a synthetic, absorbable, monofilament, sterile suture composed of polyglycolide-co-caprolactone. Available undyed and violet.
Complete mass absorption in approximately 90-120 days (approximately 65% of original tensile strength 7 days after implantation, 40% of original tensile strength 14 days after implantation).
Indications
KRUUSE Monofast is commonly used in soft tissues and ligation where absorbable sutures are indicated, including:
■ Blood vessel ligation
■ Ductus ligation
■ Intradermal closure
■ Oral mucosa/gingival approximation
■ Subcutaneus approximation
