Müller Hinton Agar does not contain heat labile
raw products such as blood. 
Müller Hinton Agar has repeatedly been tested on many types of
bacteria by many researchers with good results.
Both coliform bacteria, staphylococci, micrococci
and streptococci grow well on Müller Hinton Agar.

Results:
Escherichia coli:
Growth: Good.
Colony morphology: Circular, medium-sized,
transparent (characteristic smell).
Microscopy: Rod-shaped bacteria.

Staphylococcus aureus:
Growth: Good.
Colony morphology: Small/medium, bone white.
Microscopy: Cocci in groups.

Micrococci:
Growth: Good.
Colony morphology: Small/medium, bone white.
Microscopy: Cocci in smaller groups.

Streptococcus dysgalactiae:
Growth: Good.
Colony morphology: Small, circular, transparent,
shiny surface.
Microscopy: Cocci in chains.

Resistancy:
Müller Hinton Agar can also be used to determine
resistancy.

Storage:
Store in a cool dark place.
Do not refrigerate.
