EQUIVET Epiglottic Retraktor

The EQUIVET Epiglottic Retractor is special designed instrument to assist during laser surgery of an epiglottic entrapment. The retractor is introduced opposite to the nostril where the endoscope and laser fiber are positioned. The instrument is placed between the entrapped membrane and the epiglottis. Slight traction is applied on the retractor by the assistant until the tip of the instrument can be detected behind the membrane at its ventral part. Now the laser surgery can start.
