DOUXO S3 is a completely newly developed series, with new ingredients. In addition to the research part behind the series, it has also been developed in collaboration with both veterinarians and animal owners. The new ingredient OPHYTRIUM is a purified extract consisting primarily of fructosans from the root of the Asian plant Ophiopogon japonicus.

OPHYTRIUM supports all three barrier functions in the skin's sensitive ecosystem. The mechanical skin barrier is supported by OPHYTRIUM strengthening and rebuilding the integrity of the skin. On the surface of the skin, OPHYTRIUM regulates the microbiota. At the same time, colonization is prevented and a reduction in biofilm formation is seen. OPHYTRIUM dampens the immunological skin barrier and has a soothing effect on the skin.
