KRUUSE Sacryl Plus contains chlorhexidine. It is a synthetic, absorbable, multifilament, sterile suture. Complete mass absorption in 56-70 days (approximately 75% of original tensile strength 14 days after implantation, 40% of original tensile strength 21 days after implantation, 20% of original tensile strength 28 days after implantation).
KRUUSE Sacryl dispenser box contains 12 peel packs. Shelf life is 5 years (from production date). This multifilament suture is composed of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide (Polyglactin 910) and is coated with glycolide, lactide (Polyglactin 370), and calcium stearate. This suture is suitable for soft tissue surgery e.g. GI, urologic surgery, gynaecological and orthopedic surgery where a midterm absorption profile is needed. Also suitable for subcutaneous suturing and muscle-repairing procedures.
