KRUUSE PGA is a synthetic, absorbable, multifilament, sterile suture. Complete mass absorption in 60-90 days (approximately 75% of original tensile strength 14 days after implantation, 40% of original tensile strength 21 days after implantation).
KRUUSE PGA dispenser box contains 12 peel packs. Shelf life is 5 years (from production date). This multifilament suture is composed of polyglycolic acid and coated with polycaprolactone and calcium stearate. This suture is suitable for subcutaneous and soft tissue surgery e.g. GI, urologic surgery, and orthopedic surgery where a midterm absorption profile is needed.
