KRUUSE Monofast Plus contains chlorhexidine. It is a synthetic, absorbable, monofilament, sterile suture. Complete mass absorption in 90-120 days (approximately 65% of original tensile strength 7 days after implantation, 40% of original tensile strength 14 days after implantation).
KRUUSE Monofast dispenser box contains 12 peel packs. Shelf life is 3 years (from production date). This monofilament suture is composed of polyglycolide-co-caprolactone and is suitable for subcutaneous or intradermal suturing, Gl-surgery, urological surgery, and approximation of oral mucosa e.g. gingival flaps.
